Memorial Day and Soft Ball

I am trying to keep up with my blogs and did accomplish to post one to my homeschooling blog too!

First, Memorial Day. Every year my oldest son's Boy Scout pack walks in the Memorial Day parade. It makes for a long day for the boys but I think they enjoy it none the less. My husband helped set up and the rest of us showed up later. The kids picked up lots of candy and had fun watching all the floats go by!

Waiting for the parade to begin! Yep, there is my normally very sweet redhead. He is being a stinker about having his picture taken lately! LOL!Major Cutie doing what she does best...standing there looking so incredibly cute!Probably the all time favorite float of the parade! We covered US history this year so this Liberty Bell was really neat to see.The Boy Scout Pack.I know I am the Mom but I think my oldest son is really adorable too! As of late he has hung out with a group of older boys where he takes piano lessons. They told him he had great "drummer hair" so now I think this hair style is going to be around for a while~!

This is my oldest daughter's first year for softball and she seems to be having lots of fun. I love that this girl has no fear or insecurities. She just goes out there and plays. I pray this kind of attitude stays with her forever!

Isn't this picture great! Look at where the bat meets the ball! So cute!Run sweet heart run!I wish I captured this moment better as my daughter is really drumming her helmet as she waits her turn to run to third base!
