PRETTY, PRETTY!!

I know some may disagree with me but today we got our sweet pea's ears pierced!! BUT I can NOT post the picture because my DH FORGOT MY CAMERA at work!! I was stressing that he had it and now I know why!!! ;-) Anyway this is how it went. All week our sweet pea would notice our earrings and I would ask her if she wanted some. I told her (with my facial expressions) that is would hurt a little but go away! So this morning she woke up and pointed and grunted about having her earrings. So I called Piercing Pagoda and the same two ladies who did Veda's 3 years ago were there! We went to the mall and picked out THE earrings. When I sat our sweet pea on my lap the ladies washed off her lobes....and sweet pea smiled like she now had earrings. We said, not yet. Then they marked her ears with a marker...bigger smile from sweet pea. We said not yet and I said it will feel like this and I did a small pinch on her arm. Sweet pea said, "no". I said it will be ok. And they got ready and pierced both ears at once. Sweet pea looked shocked and then looked in the mirror. And then the sweetest thing ever!!! She turned around and kissed me and hugged me and said, "THANK YOU MOMMY!" It was so sweet. I will post a picture tomorrow IF dh remembers my camera!!
