Maybe next year will bring more excitment to our Christmas traditions for Major Cutie. The annual trip to the tree farm, riding the wagon to the back property to cut down our own tree and then throwing it up on top of the van to bring home and decorate was not what Aleena considered good fun! LOL! She did like the wagon ride but wasn't really sure why were doing it and just having to wear snowpants, a hat etc. is never something she especially likes! And the tree was pokey! This was so cute because it made her mad that the tree was pokey. She did help decorate but rather found herself very happy at the table eating some potato chips! I am guessing when Christmas morning arrives and she sees gifts under the tree that snowpants, hats, wagon rides and pokey pine needles will all be welcomed warmly next Christmas season!

That's funny - and true! The tree is pokey, and if you don't see it's purpose in the first place, then why would you want to touch it? :-)
Great tradition...I love that you go and cut down your Christmas tree. Philip insists on a fake one and I am quite bummed...The family picture turned out great!
