You know what kind of "I love you" I love to get? Those ones that happen when your kids are mad at you but still can say "I love you". This is especially special coming from my Major Cutie. Tonight, in play she threw a book across the room at her brother. Now, she wasn't being really mean but looked right at me because she knew she can't throw books. So I pulled out the Love and Logic and said, "oh. Mommy doesn't read books if we throw them around and treat them badly." MC pouted and left my bedroom. I told her that she was welcome to sit with Boo and I and she could listen to the story he had picked out. She said no and stood out in the hallway...and started to cry. I finished the story, put Boo to bed and then put MC to bed. She listened while I prayed and then said in tears, "You know why I mad at you? You no give me a book." I said, "I know. I still love you." Then left her room. She was too sad to say I love you back. Then within seconds she yells, "Mom! I love you!" It melted my heart. And I said back, "I'm not mad at you honey. I love you too."

That is so sweet!! I know Heidy likes to throw things when she is mad. We have had to send her to her room for it and tell her she needs to be nice to her books or whatever it is she throws.
