I wish I had a photo or two to show ya but I don't! I always look forward to the photos when I check my favorite blogs! Anywho, we met with our social worker Trish a week ago and it was wonderful! I would dare to say it was life-changing for dh and me. I am not sure how to share that day with you, though I wish I could. We are now waiting to see our homestudy draft and I hope to wrap everything up in the next few weeks. Dh and I are document ready! In the waiting time of finding out who our daughter is, Trish gave us a few great things to do. Two of them being that we begin writing letter's to the birth mother and father and think about gifts we will give to them. In the best of circumstances we will know and possibly be able to meet the birth mom, though probably not the birth father. Either way Trish would like us to write to them and offer a gift. If we do not ever get the opportunity to meet them, we will at some point much, much later give them to our daughter. Perhaps on her wedding day or something. The thought of doing this is so comforting. It is well with my soul. The next time I update I hope to have our "waiting number" as I call it! Isn't it an odd thought to thing that our adopted daughter may be within her mother's womb as I write this. Please pray for her birthmother, her emotional, spiritual and physical safety. Thanks for checking up on us.

Congratualtions being so close to getting your waiting list number!!! It is amazing how much that number will mean to you in the coming months! We are also adopting through AGCI (Guatemala) and remember well finishing our dossier. I look forward to reading your blog as your journey continues.
