A new life, a new name

Well as of late the talk around here is about giving our Ethiopian daughter a new name, or rather a new first or middle name. This has been so much harder than I thought and I'm still not sure if we are doing the right thing. All of the names we like start with the letter A, or E. For example, Alana, Eliana, Aleena, Eden, Eve....and with that I was thinking of what her intials would spell ....BAG, BEG, not good. So we have decided to make her given name her middle name and give her a new first name. My plan for now is to call her both her first and middle name together and she how it goes with her. Since she is 4 years old I would think within a few months we'll have a pretty good feeling on what name she would rather be called. But really this is just a guess. I know God gave new names to people all the time in the Bible even adults. Just think of Paul after he became a Christian, he had a new life and therefore was given a new name. Is this at all the same for our daughter?
