Oh NO! I won't give out the excuses on how I didn't blog on our one year anniversary of the referral of our Major Cutie. Ugh, it was on June 18th....here are some pics.
These two were our referral pictures! Can a sweet little girl get more beautiful than this!!! I still remember seeing these pictures for the very first time. I called my sister so she could see them too and I couldn't stop crying and saying how beautiful she was. I couldn't believe her smile and how much she looked like us...well except for the obvious. But really, she has our nose our smiles! I love remembering this moment.

Sweet, sweet babe. You have been through so much in such a short time and yet you still smile. You are full of life never wanting to let it pass by without you. You are brave and courageous, never watching from the sidelines. There is so much we can learn from you. What a privilege, a blessing, to be called by God to lead you the rest of the way back to Himself. Momma loves you baby and we're gonna make it!I'll post pictures of our pick up trip when we celebrate our one year HOME with Major Cutie in August. Have a great week. Oh how I remember those referral photos and all the emails about your excitement. God has done wonders this year, has He not? By the way, I love both the new do's at your place. You better hope MC doesn't get inspired and cut her onw hair to fit in. :)

We are adopting a 2 year old, but we'll go through some of the same issues I'm sure. Your Major Cutie is true to her name! And your other children (and dog) are all beautiful too! :-) What a great family! And I don't know what your haircut was like before but I think it looks great! And kudos to your daughter for giving to Locks of Love!!!
