Just about ready to go!

I think we are just about ready to go! Last nite my family gave me a donation shower and that was so wonderful of them. I am having a hard time getting it all in four bags, under 50 lbs. though. It just can't be done. I have called two families that I know are traveling and both have agreed to take some donations along with them. One box is 20 pounds alone! The other is probably closer to 10 pounds. And there is still more. I'm not kidding. I'm waiting to call Ethiopian Airlines this morning and asking about paying for one more piece of luggage. This would solve our problem. So please pray that will happen. All that is left for us to pack is our cloths and toiletries. I also have to shop for two more items, headphones and a Praise CD for our director Almaz. I then need to go to the bank and cash out a CD and get crisper bills to take to Ethiopia. Unfortunately you have to carry cash. Not fun or safe if you ask me! Thursday I have to drive about an hour away to drop off our puppy. The breeder is keeping him for us while were gone so it is worth the drive. And then I think that is it. I still need to clean my house and the van out and install "Helen's" car seat. It's raining here today tho...I think we'll get enough of that in Ethiopia! I'll blog on Thursday and try really hard to email and send photos from ET.
