More about hair...

I know you girls are just wondering about my pupper dogs hair too aren't you? No? Well say! We bought this beautiful breed of a dog called a Kerry Blue Terrier weeks before we were set to travel to Ethiopia. Little did we know the process would go so quickly. But Finnegan, our dog, has been great and really quick to learn. He's fun but not too hyper. Anyway, he has this shiny black curly coat that is just so interesting. First of all he is called a Kerry Blue because his skin is actually blue! And although he is born black his coats changes color and turns into this bluish-gray-black color. This needs to happen by the time he is 2 years old to be "show-quality" stock. And lo and behold his hair is starting to turn at 9 month old. It is happening on his ears first. I tried to capture this silly pupper dog in picture...Oh, and just for the fun of it his registered name is Fanfare's Mega Million...
Here his ears have recently been shaved so they are not curly but there on his ear, do you see it? That salt and pepper look? See it?!awhh, isn't he the sweetest pupper?
