Sharon, you were right! I can make injera and it was really close to the real thing! Major cutie was really happy about that and so was my oldest son who said it tasted really good. And dh? He asked twice if I REALLY made it! How fun is that! Here are some pictures. And by the way I feel the need to say that my kiddos didn't spend ALL day (today at least) in their pjs. We all went for a walk and those littlest two splished-splashed in all the wet, sloppy snow...so instead of putting on more clean clothes they put on their jammies late in the afternoon.

I know it isn't suppose to be crispy on the bottom but I couldn't seem to stop it. At one point I had them cooking for only 35ish seconds.
The very proud chef!!
Here is Sharon's post where I found this recipe. Check out her older post around Dec. 27th. http://youneekgang.blogspot.com/

Jen, Yeah!!!! I knew you could do it. I'm so glad you tried and realized it's not hard, just time consuming :). I'm sure you'll become a pro and you're right, it's much tastier to our American palettes. :) Elijah loves his with Doro wat and Shiro.
